Vin North American Restaurant

Vin is a 3-story Western restaurant specializing in Canadian and American West coast cuisine. Located in the South of Chengdu in the High Tech Zone, Vin hosts a mixed barbecue dinner every Friday night, and hosts monthly themed events featuring varying world cuisine.

Stone walls, wooden doors, and antique furniture adorn Vin and convey a sense of old world ambience, which is unique in Chengdu. The French chateau theme is expressed upon all three levels of the restaurant, which is an impressive display of foreign culinary culture in Chengdu.

The name Vin originates from the French word for wine (“Vin”) and is also a reference to the vines upon which grapes, used to make wine, come from.

Prices range from 50-800RMB per dish, all their bread is made in house and can seat about 200 across all three floors. The wine selection at Vin is huge, and prices vary wildly from affordable to very expensive.

    Dear Mr./Ms.,

I have a wine offer which you might include in your wine menu. The wine comes from the coasts of Adriatic sea (next to Italy). The wine is of great quality.

I look forward to hearing from you and if you should have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me and let me know on which email i can send you my offer.

    Best regards,

    Luka Ocek

Enjoyed a meal at Vin tonight. Was surprised to learn it has been opened at this location for 3 years! My wife and I had a caesar salad, tortellini appetizer, and cod/braised short-rib for our mains. It was a delight, and the price isn’t as high as I had expected – I think it’s about the same as what you’d pay at Grappas, with one difference: I find the environment much better. The chef/hosts are pleasant, and service was spot on. We’ll be returning to try the wonderful-sounding burger and seafood plate.
